The Normal HeartPotluck – Movie – Discussion

Saturday, September 27
4PM to 6PM

This excellent documentary is based on the largely autobiographical play by Larry Kramer. It focuses on the rise of the HIV-AIDS crisis in New York City between 1981 and 1984, as seen through the eyes of writer/activist Ned Weeks, the gay Jewish-American founder of a prominent HIV advocacy group.

After the film we will discuss HIV-AIDS issues in 2014.

BridegroomPotluck – Movie – Discussion

Sunday, August 24
12:30PM to 3PM
All Saints Forum

Join us for lunch and an award-winning documentary. This poignant and enraging true story opens a window onto the issue of marriage equality like no speech or lecture ever will. An accidental death leads to a loving and committed partner finding himself completely shut out and ostracized without legal recourse.

Discussion following will be let by a lawyer who will educate us so we don’t find ourselves in a similar situation.

RSVP not required; Email for info.
