What happens when you invite one of today’s most celebrated spiritual teachers to offer free advice at a “help desk” in a busy public place? Find out in a new special hosted by Gotham Chopra, Deepak Chopra’s son, as he introduces his world-renowned father and sets up an outdoor help desk in Madison Square Park in New York City. Chopra brings his spiritual wisdom to the streets, offering life-changing wisdom to hard-hitting questions about relationships, health, spirituality, and personal transformation. Then, 8 Habits of Love author Reverend Ed Bacon sets up shop in Venice Beach, California, offering spiritual wisdom and inspiring answers to questions about parenting, loss, faith, and sexuality.
“Help Desk” can be seen on Sunday September 22 from noon – 1PM on OWN, the Oprah Winfrey Network, as part of her series “Super Soul Sunday.”

Bring your pets to church for a blessing!
9:00 AM, Sunday, Sept. 29. Bring your pets, photos of your pets, or even stuffed animals. All pets are invited to walk through the Church and then adjourn to the outdoor worship service on the quad lawn for our annual celebration of St. Francis Day, which, of course, includes a blessing of the animals.
Please arrive no later than 8:45 AM if you would like to participate in the procession.
Traditionally observed on the week after Homecoming Sunday, Celebration of Ministries Sunday is a festive celebration of the various ministries and programs that make up the work and witness of All Saints Church. The centerpiece of the day is a lively assortment of tables on the church lawn, where each ministry offers colorful displays publicizing their work while recruiting new members.
The various ministry banners are also part of the opening processions at the 9 AM and 11:15 AM services.

Sunday, September 15, marks Homecoming at All Saints Church, the kickoff of the 2013/2014 program year and the return of Ed Bacon to the pulpit. He will speak on “We Can Find Our Way” at the 7:30, 9:00 and 11:15 services.
There will be friends, food trucks, games, a dunking booth, and, perhaps, squirt guns.
