Gene Robinson

Bishop Gene Robinson at ASC 9/22/13

Known for being the first openly gay priest to be elected as a Bishop in 2003, Gene Robinson is also known as an impassioned spiritual leader and effective community builder. The Bishop is a longtime friend of All Saints Pasadena — he last visited almost a year ago to discuss his latest book, God Believes in Love: Straight Talk on Gay Marriage.

Gene Robinson retired this year from his ten-year tenure as Episcopal Bishop of New Hampshire, although a Bishop is designated for life. Since then, he’s been active as a Senior Fellow at the Center for American Progress.

We’re delighted to welcome him back on Sept. 22 to preach, both at the 9 AM and 11:15 AM services, and as the speaker in the Rector’s Forum at 10:15.
